A few of Carl's Favorite Colorado Travel Websites
Planning a vacation? Well then, you MUST consider Colorado as a fun place to go. I am a native of Colorado and may be a little biased. And being 60+ years old, "been there, done that" as they say.
Colorado State Directory
The first page is a directory that will help you decide where to start. Pick your region, activity and accommodation and off you go! You'll find addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, an introduction, description, highlights, and more of each area you select.

Colorado Mountain Inns
This site focuses on one specific area of Colorado... Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Granby, Grand Lake, Hot Sulphur Springs, Parshall and Kremmling. The scenery is... well, the best (but don't forget, I'm biased).

I'd Rather Be In Colorado...
The official site for Colorado Travel and Tourism. You can easily locate accommodations, attractions, dining, recreation, and transportation throughout the state, or browse through events and articles featuring fun and exciting activities. Perfect for any type of traveler: adventure, leisure, business, or family.

Featuring... White Water Rafting
Well, now for my featured site. With spring just around the corner, you may want to start planning a trip to Colorado and do some white water rafting. I usually do the Colorado river in June but friends tell me the four corners is excellent. It's a fun sport for all the family. Try it!

The Fourteener's
Want a real challenge? There are 14 mountains in Colorado that are over 14,000 feet high (what else!). If you just happen to be in the area, plan on climbing one of them or as many as you like. But please be physically prepared!
