Your Crafty guide has put together some of the best sites to visit for craft ideas for children ages 7 to 12 years old. My idea is to find ones that are easy to navigate, have all the instructions readily available and, most importantly, are FUN! Making Friends
Making Friends is a site where you can do just that! First, there is an area to visit where you can make paper dolls with themes to match holidays, seasons, etc. Need ideas for groups, holidays or seasonal crafts? They're just a click away at this site. Find contests, discussion groups and bulletin boards easily here also. If you don't have the materials for your own crafts, there are areas to shop where the kits can be ordered. What could be easier?

I believe the current word is "Awesome"! This site has it all -- crafts, contests, newsletters, and more. All of it organized in an easy to use manner. Done by parents for parents and kids, this site is organized by topic -- Just For Fun, Make a Gift, Recycled Projects, and Seasonal/Holiday Crafts. There are some wonderful ideas for holidays you should definitely check out!

WOW-It's hard to believe this site is specifically for kids ages 7-12. What a great site to visit! It features craft projects, community service and scout ideas, an area for teachers, and much more. I wasn't certain what would happen when I joined this message board but am pleased to report that I have been pleasantly surprised. The information in this board has been useful and, well, brief. You can view archived information as well as have the newsletter mailed to you. It is not cumbersome and is a very quick read. Country Cuts Newsletter
This newsletter has some very good information and links to various projects. It covers many different topics, at times devoting the newsletter to just one subject.
