What would memories of Thanksgiving be without the Snack Food? Pretty boring in my mind. It's the trimmings that make for a lovely meal - from the Cranberry Sauce to the roasted Pumpkin seeds. And who can resist chestnuts - I can't!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
This is the Turkey Consumer's website - aka National Turkey Federation - stuffed with recipes, plus enough tips on thawing, cooking, and serving that famous bird to keep even the most hardy roaster reading. You have to love it (either that - or wonder why any one would ever visit!). Be sure to check out the celebrity chef demos, and of course the 9 recipes for using leftovers! (In my house - we call these 'snack foods'!

My vote for most informative - what do you think?
Food Network's take on the traditional holiday - yep, you got the turkey and the stuffing. What it lacks in warm fuzzy feelings it more than makes up for in reliable recipes and delicious looking photos. There's the mandatory guide to cooking a turkey, plus recipes for leftovers - and some truly yummy sounding side dishes - from Cranberry Relish to Stuffed Pumpkin. (And I thought they came pre-stuffed!) Best read - the 911 suggestions for dealing with a raw (AKA I forgot to turn on the oven) turkey, which explains the origin of the term, "Boy - are you a Turkey!"

Hey Honey, how's your Tetrazzini?
Just a list - but what a list! Whew, who knew there were that many ways to cut up a bird! Actually, it's the side dishes that sound the best - and qualify as Snack Food - plus the 15 recipes for leftovers (Hey Honey, want some Turkey Tetrazzini?)

Kid Safe, Kid Fun, Kid Proof!
Kids, Thanksgiving, Crafts, Snacks - now those words go together well! And this site will add some new ideas to even the most well versed on mom's To Do list: "Mom, it's raining and cold outside and I'm BORED!" Enjoy!
