An Abundance of Unit Study Resources on the Web
Welcome to the Realm of Unit Studies! Unit Studies are such a fun way of learning! As you and your children are absorbed in whatever subject you choose, you can explore so many different activities.

You can not only read about Marco Polo but have a feast with him, make maps like he did and so on and so on! Plus, you can include ALL your children in this wonderful adventure -- not just one "grade level."

Core Knowledge Lesson Plans
This is an excellent unit study resource; it has lesson plans listed by grade level. Each lesson plan centers around a theme. From Egypt to American History, there's lots to do! And all written by the teachers using them! Hands on activities, goals, book lists and worksheets are just some of the things you'll find with each unit!

Unit Study Checklist
Ever wonder if you are including all you should? Or maybe you're new to units and don't know where to begin. Peggy Flint has provided a wonderful unit study checklist that she personally uses. It's great for keeping track of what you want to include in your unit. Also nice for record keeping purposes.

You're also sure to find some useful info on her Unit Study Planning Page as well. A great starting point for anyone who wants to plan their own unit study.

This is best unit study board out there in my opinion. The people here are friendly and helpful. Ask any question pertaining to unit studies and they will help out with the answers! One of my personal favorites!
