Top Five Property & Casualty Web Sites
Below are my current Top Five property and casualty web sites. Check back often, because I'm kind of fickle and they will probably change from time to time. ;-) Seriously, though, it's my job to make sure you find the best of the best here...

IIAA's Virtual Insurance University
The best thing about IIAA's web site is their new Virtual University. At their home page, click on Industry, then select Virtual University from the menu. Included is a research library, FREE online courses, and "Ask an Expert" service. Other features are reportedly coming soon.

About.com Insurance
Jim Moore has done an outstanding job of making About.com's Insurance area one of the best portals on the Internet. For a broad range of insurance topics, this is currently the best place to start.

Ultimate Insurance Links
If you're looking for an insurance web site, I'd be shocked if it wasn't included in Barry Klein's FREE listing of insurance sites. Select the "complete" listing, then use your browser's search function to find the link you're looking for.

International Risk Management Institute
When it comes to commercial insurance, nobody has more technical information than the folks at IRMI. Jack Gibson's gurus have been working on their site and now have quite a bit of FREE information in addition to their subscription services.

WorkersCompensation.com
This is what NCCI's site could (and should) be... loads of information about state workers comp insurance laws and regulations. Caution: Since these statutes change fairly often, I'd recommend you verify the information you find by at least one other source.

Property & Casualty Insurance Newsletters and Discussion Groups
Below are two substantive industry mailing lists. In future newsletters, I'll be featuring other general insurance newsletters, but these two contain much more than industry press releases.
IIAA's VUpoint Newsletter
IIAA's Virtual University (thus the name "VUpoint" newsletter) publishes a bi-weekly, FREE email newsletter with articles written by some of the top experts in the industry. Each issue features at least six articles, one each on personal lines, commercial lines, agency management, sales, customer service, and technology. To subscribe, use the form on the site or send a blank email to: IIAAVU-subscribe@listbot.com

Risk Mail
RiskMail is a group discussion list that you can subscribe and contribute to... it is more of a peer-to-peer communication than IIAA's expert-oriented ezine. I'd suggest signing up for their digest version; otherwise, you'll get a separate email every time someone submits a question or comment to the mailing list. Just click on the RISKMail Account Center link on the left to sign up.
