Online Fax Services
Integrating your Internet connection with your other message options can save you a lot of time, and make life very convenient, especially if you're a road warrior or run a small business.

eFax
Offering a range of services, eFax is best for the small business that just wants a separate line to receive faxes and voicemail in small numbers. For this level of service, there's no charge.

They set up a separate phone line for you, and convert your faxes and voicemail to emails, sent as attachments. Make sure you have a good mailbox size allowance before you use this much, as these files can get big. (ie, approx 10k/page for faxes.)

Requires a special viewer, and allows you to password protect your inbound faxes, for privacy.

They also offer local or toll free lines, and outbound faxing, for a fee.

JFax
A more comprehensive service than eFax, JFax offers voice conferencing, inbound and outbound faxing, voice and fax to email service, and bulk faxing.

Very reasonably priced, and simple to use. An excellent solution for small to mid sized businesses that do a lot of faxing, especially bulk faxing to clients and customers.

They also offer several free services similar to those of eFax.

FaxRoom eMail to Fax Service
At 9 cents a page, this service will convert email to faxes and deliver them to any fax machine you choose within the US.

This system is a great way to have orders or leads developed through your website delivered directly to your fax machine.

atFax
Connects fax machines to each other via the Internet. The portals (machines that make the connections) are not cheap at $950 each, but if you spend a lot on long distance faxing to the same numbers on a frequent basis, they can save your company a lot of money.
