Bravo!
Not only did Puccini write great operas, his life was like an opera! His wife accused him of having an affair with their maid. The accusation was untrue but the maid committed suicide. The estate of Puccini sued Al Jolson for stealing Puccini's music. The case was settled out of court. This website lists all of Puccini's operas and actually lets you hear some music from each one. A great site to learn about one of opera's greatest composers before you put on a tuxedo and go to the opera house.
