Hi there! Throwing a party... does it get any better than this? I think in my 40 something years, I have come up with some pretty interesting ones and I owe it all to my mother. She was the one who decided that it was okay to tint our milk green for St. Patrick's Day, whip up a Halloween Menu that had us eating our dessert first, and receiving our cutlery last. I guess you had to be there! ;)

A great resource for the entire family. My favorite part of this site is the daily holiday section. I don't necessarily need a reason to entertain, but I might not have thought of "Pickle Day" on my own! You'll also find the history of the special day, craft ideas to pass along to your kids, music, and message boards set aside for each special day.

Web Holidays
The first thing that caught my eye about this site was the bar running down the left side of the page. It tells you what holidays are being celebrated at the moment. Click on that particular holiday and you will find gorgeous pages, a little history of the holiday, a few recipes, and just for good measure, a section devoted to a contest and a giveaway. A great place to start planning your next party.

I love this site. Especially because it offers ideas for all of us who are not naturally crafty, can't really cook but still love to entertain!

The projects are easy enough for the novice, but effective enough to bring a smile to everyone's face. Tricia's advice will keep you coming back for more. She has definitely worked her magic on me!
