DVD Reviews Fast And Furious Style!
Work is running late, dinner is almost on the table, the kids are climbing the walls and you really want to see a film that you, the kids and the spouse can all unwind with and enjoy. But what's new and what's good?

Well, you don't have time to sit and watch the review shows or go through every magazine and newspaper there is to find out.

DVDReview.com
Well, here you are: it is has been weighed, measured and found brilliant. In-depth reviews of the latest DVDs, the greatest DVDs and even old DVDs (if there really is such a thing just yet.)

What you have here is a categorized and pretty flashy DVD Review page. Reviews are easy to find; click the movie poster of the DVD you're looking to find out about and bang, you're there. Navigation is simple and load time is quick; it will serve your needs with ease. The page is currently celebrating five years of existence, so you can rely on it to be there for much longer.

DVD Talk
What's old is new again here at DVD Talk. Since DVD is now pressing out dozens of old movies onto disk, the reviews at DVD Talk take on a nostalgic flare.

They have their share of new reviews as well, but they seem to focus on movies that have been resurrected for DVD recently, as well as a large amount of foreign films, which most DVD sites tend to overlook.

Navigation is clean and quick and the site itself has been around for some time, so it's likely to be around for awhile. Outside the reviews there are a multitude of other services you should check out if you've got some time to spend.

Yanmans's DVD Reviews
If you want fast and furious reviews of the most current releases, you'll get it here. Click and go on the title and the load time is fantastic.

There is a ton of info on this site -- the reviews are just the tip of the iceberg. Regardless of the amount of content, the reviews are very well thought out and well written, so you can get in and out with a good overall opinion of the movie you're looking for.

Video Reviews For The VHS Set!
DVD is grand and all, but what about those of us who still use VHS? They still make them and as long as they do, we're going to watch them!

Video has grown a lot and even in the shadow of DVD, it still has the great titles and presentations without the spinning disk.

Below are the sites that have broken through and held true to the VHS medium. These sites prove that there's no need to upgrade just yet while there's still so much great video out there.

Supercalafragalistic, dot com no less!
Wow. Just... wow. This site is a blast and a half. Full reviews in full animated glory. There is nothing this site doesn't have! The reviews are fluent, funny and downright as (or more) entertaining than the movies being reviewed.

Some special features include the animated reviews. Bears, Elvis, that guy from Sling Blade, Forest Gump, all in flash animations reviewing the films, singing songs and having a chat with you about the film. This feature is outright hilarious and worth a visit to the site in itself.

Five star, quick loading, rock and roll site and one of my personal favorites.

Apollo Guide Online
A new and growing online magazine with a huge reach to over 80 countries. The video reviews reflect this nicely as you can find nearly every video on VHS that has been released recently.

The rating system is easy to understand and the flow is pretty good as well. There are also sections for DVD reviews for those of you DVD people who came down to the VHS section out of curiosity, and currently running movie reviews.

Fast, clean and easy to read, the reviews here are fluent and well put together; very good all around.
