Travel Along with Me and View the Best of Ceramic Sculptures
Scanning through the maze of ceramic sculpture seeking the most creative can be confusing. So, use me, your guide of Ceramic Sculpture. I'll sort it all out for you and give you an overview of the various art styles and will clue you in on the most talented of sculptors, including the emerging artists. I'll be discriminating in my selection but will not discriminate, and will remember that I do not critique art -- that I will leave up to you.

Travel along with me across the oceans to see what our neighbors and their museums are exhibiting. We'll view the clays of today and those of yesteryears and have an enjoyable and memorable time.

Whimsical Critters Brightly Glazed
You'll just love these adorable, whimsical, brightly colored animals of this American born ceramist, Scott Causey. Take the time to explore Scott's 4 galleries: Animals, Vessels, Platters, and Paintings. Note the salamander: it may be displayed horizontally or crawling on the wall. You're sure to love the colorful vases and platters here as well!

Couple Team up to Create Decorative Art
John Bennett received formal education in the 60's; wife Lynette is apprentice. Two methodical sculptors and their combined vibrant talents produce a variety of functional works. Especially gratifying are the sea creatures. Very pleasurable and peaceful site near the Oregon Coastline.

You Will Be Inspired - Trust Me
OK, guys, we all have those days when nothing is upstairs. So don't fret, check out these century old decorative art works, not to copy but to become inspired, viewing their shapes, forms, platforms, lids and all that sort of stuff.

And, yes, glass and some bronzes are included but the site gives great photos, various views, and good coloring. If you're into the abstract, better still, you'll be inspired as what to destruct. Also try the BC terra cotta sculptures; primitive, geometric -- those should stimulate your mind and emotions.

Double Reward, A Friendly Smile & Great Art
A very friendly smile will greet you at this site and you'll get a double reward when you view her ceramic sculptures. Her name is Cheryl Tall, she's a Master of Fine Arts, and you will enjoy viewing her works. Her site is void of commercialism -- you can travel with ease into this huge gallery with a large array of subtle variant colored glazes onto ceramic sculptures; figurative, yet abstract. Various influences shaped her work, which developed into her own style, but one can sometimes see the combination of those influences which makes her works compelling.

These are sculptures one would enjoy viewing in person too, so check out her site for current exhibitions. Or perhaps if you hear of one coming to your town, give it a try -- jot down her name and remember her smile.
